Hello, everyone! I hope 2025 is winding to a successful close for all of you, and that your Christmas will be merry and bright this year. It’s been an interesting year for me; as usual I’m behind on my self-imposed writing schedule, although Reveille continues to progress and I should have Advance Reader Chapters up soon on my Patreon page (available to everyone, not just to paying patrons).
A couple of items for the coming year; 2026 will see another Wearing the Cape story (as yet untitled), and hopefully the release of my long-promised RPG system with which I’m going to do a second WtC:RPG edition! 2026 will be a con-light year; I’m committed only to Gen Con and The Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con, with hopes get back to Salt Lake Fan X as well.
Lastly, I’m trying something new this year. Wearingthecape.com no longer has a store attached to it so everything is sold on Amazon now. But Amazon won’t let me bundle books, so to offer the traditional Christmas Bundle, I’m going truly direct!
THE WEARING THE CAPE CHRISTMAS BUNDLE
Wearing the Cape: The Roleplaying Game + Wearing the Cape: Barlow’s Guide & The B-Files: $64.99.
Author-signed bookplate: Free.
Packaging and Shipping: $6.
So for $71, you get the gamebook, sourcebook, and collector’s book plate, signed with or without your name and even with a Merry Christmas! if you like. Almost a 50% savings.
If interested, comment and say so; I’ll accept Paypal payments with a walk over to the post office on the same day (except Sunday, of course).
And again, Merry Christmas, everyone! It’s truly my favorite time of the year.

Merry Christmas to you and all the best in the new year. My writing continues to focus on local history in my home of St. Charles County, Missouri. Please take care.
And a Merry Christmas to you!
Definitely in for that Christmas bundle Mr. Harmon. I’m not a big fan of the RPG system itself, but your world is fantastic. Ironically enough, 13 years ago I was going to run a superhero campaign in your world with some other system I was using at the time. That was when I first read Wearing the Cape. I was sleeping in on a Saturday morning when a rush of ideas hit me all at once, and my world was born. 13 years later I’m still plugging away at it’s novel form. But it was your work that inspired me, so thank you for that!
And Merry Christmas!

No worries, Dan! As a writer who takes inspiration from so many excellent sources, it’s always great to hear my words have inspired somebody else.
If you’d like to get the gamebooks for Christmas, drop the $71 on my Paypal account (at mgharmon65@gmail.com), with your full shipping information (must be within the continental United States). Also tell me how you’d like the collector’s bookplate signed (just my signature or your name and my signature).

Damn. I’m up in Canada. If you can make it work, let me know. Otherwise, no worries.

Give me the address and I’ll see what shipping would cost.

Yikes. Best rate I can find is with GlobalPost; $28.69, 3-5 business days. I could drop $10 from the holiday bundle price to compensate a bit, but you’re still looking at $84.
Yeah, don’t worry about it. With the conversion rate, it’ll cost me $115 Canadian. I appreciate you checking into it for me! Have a Merry Christmas!
Dan
I had no idea the conversion rate was so bad right now! Have a great holiday yourself.
I’m a big audiobook guy, I don’t know if you discussed this before but will there be anymore audiobooks for your new book? Specifically book 10.
Eventually. No promised schedule, however, and I’m sorry for that. Have a good holiday!
